SWUUC SUMMER CAMPS

Camps for children and youth at U-Bar-U
SWUUC will offer summer camps for ages 8-19 at three separate camps again in July 2012. You may register now.  If you'd like to pay the fee in smaller increments, feel free to make payments monthly through your Palpal account to payments@swuuc.org.

SWUUC Primary Camp
July 1-7 - U Bar U
rising 3-6 graders

SWUUC Junior Camp
July 8-14 - U Bar U
rising 7-9 graders

SWUUC Senior Camp
July 15-21 - U Bar U
rising 9-12 graders, 19 year olds who've just graduated

Scholarships should be available from your own congregation.  If you are still in need of assistance, you may apply for a district scholarship.

If you are interested in volunteering at any of the camps, please see below for the appropriate application.  Parents working at one of the camps will receive a stipend towards their child's camp experience.

The 2012 SWUUC Senior Youth Camp will be held at U Bar U in the Texas hill country, July 15-21, 2012. We are now accepting applications for Youth Camp Staff for the 2012 camp. Applications are due to the SWUUC office no later than March 15, 2012. Applicants must submit a completed SWUUC Application to Work with Children and Youth.  Positions open are Worship Coordinator, Community Fun Coordinator, Touch Group Coordinator, and Social Justice Coordinator.

Cabin Counselor (adult) application
Cabin counselors sleep in the cabins with the campers and another adult.  They are small group leaders and participate in most of the activities.
(Primary Camp) 18 or older
(Junior Camp) 21 or older
(Senior Camp) 25 or older

Junior Cabin Counselor (teen) application
Cabin counselors sleep in the cabins with the campers and another adult.  They are small group leaders and participate in most of the activities.
(Primary Camp) 15- 17
(Junior Camp) 18 - 20

Camp Nurse application 
We'd love to have either a nurse or doctor or emt on staff each week.  You could come for just one week or all three!


Paid Positions are still available to work at U-Bar-U.  This is a perfect summer job for teachers or young adults, especially those still in college.  Lifeguard and first aid certification is a plus.
